Ismail Drissi

I'm Ismail Drissi, currently pursuing a major in Software Engineering and Distributed Systems @ENSET. My love for computer science started when I was 12, I used to build websites using HTML/CSS. They weren’t anything fancy, but I fell in love with the process.

Years later, I found myself drawn back to the same field I enjoyed as a kid, and I decided to fully commit to it. I'm a curious thinker (maybe an overthinker) and enjoy diving into intellectually challenging topics and exploring things most people tend to overlook.

Outside of tech, I enjoy staying active through sports and practicing mindfulness. Whether it's debugging Kubernetes or reflecting in silence, I’m always chasing depth in code, in thought, and in life.

GitOps: Managing Kubernetes and Infrastructure the Git Way
Tools-in-Action (BEGINNER level)

Managing complex Kubernetes clusters and infrastructure resources can quickly become overwhelming. GitOps is an operational paradigm that uses Git as the single source of truth for both application deployments and infrastructure management. This approach brings consistency, transparency, and automation to your workflows, enabling teams to deliver software faster and with higher confidence.

What you will learn:

  • The core principles and benefits of GitOps in modern DevOps and cloud-native environments
  • How to manage Kubernetes clusters declaratively using Git repositories
  • Techniques to manage infrastructure resources (cloud, networking, secrets) with GitOps tools
  • Automating continuous delivery pipelines with GitOps workflows
